Jerome J. Dobson

Jerome Dobson is the managing partner of Dobson, Goldberg, Moreland & Berns. For many years, Mr. Dobson has dedicated his practice to representing individuals in employment litigation and other civil rights cases, as well as providing advice and counseling regarding various employment matters. He litigates cases in both federal and state courts, and has obtained numerous substantial verdicts and settlements on behalf of employees. He has also successfully argued cases in federal and state courts of appeals.

In 2005, Mr. Dobson was recognized for his years of experience in the area of employment law when he was elected as a Fellow into the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, which is an association that honors the leading attorneys nationwide in the practice of labor and employment law. Membership in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers is by invitation only and is limited to attorneys who have practiced in the field of labor and employment law for at least 20 years and have proven that they possess the highest professional qualifications and ethical standards. Mr. Dobson has also served as the president of the St. Louis chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association, and he frequently speaks on employment law issues at continuing legal education seminars and to business organizations.

Mr. Dobson received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in 1974. He received a Juris Doctor degree in 1978 from George Washington University School of Law, where he graduated with honors. He has served as a clinical instructor at Antioch School of Law and as an adjunct professor at Webster University.

Mr. Dobson is licensed to practice law in all Missouri state courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Missouri and the District of Columbia, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Seventh and Eighth Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.
