Scott P. Holwitt

Originally from New Jersey, Scott Holwitt has been a St. Louis resident since 1989. He earned both his undergraduate (1993) and law degrees (1996) from Washington University. He joined the firm in 1998, after two years of private practice in Clayton, Missouri.

Scott concentrates his practice on civil litigation and workers’ compensation, primarily representing individuals who have been injured at work and/or as a result of the negligence of others (vehicular accidents, medical malpractice, wrongful death, nursing home liability, premises liability, etc.). He also represents employees in certain labor and employment matters.

Scott has tried cases to verdict or award in several jurisdictions and obtained numerous settlements on behalf of his clients, some in the six- to seven-figure range. In addition, he has successfully argued cases before the Missouri Court of Appeals.

Scott is licensed to practice law in all state courts in Missouri and Illinois, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. He is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
